The “Campbell Connection” on #GivingTuesday

We believe everybody knows somebody with an intellectual or developmental disability. On Dec. 1st, 2020, share your story of what motivates you to support them and the Campbell Center.

GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on December 1, 2020. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

And while GivingTuesday is a global movement, we at The Campbell Center want to focus on the local level. We are participating this year by celebrating our Associates, staff members, board members, and followers. We believe everyone knows somebody with a developmental disability. You can help us raise awareness about our cause by telling the story of your Campbell Connection.

What’s a “Campbell Connection”? Your Campbell Connection is whatever motivates you to support our cause. Do you have a family member with intellectual or developmental disabilities? Maybe a neighbor growing up?

We want to know: What’s your motivation to support the Campbell Center? Why did you get involved with The Campbell Center? On December 1st, we want to share those stories and inspire others to join in as well.

There are a few ways to participate in #GivingTuesday:

  1. Share the story of your Campbell Connection on social media. Tag us @TheCampbellOrg on Facebook and @TheCampbellCenter on Instagram and use the hashtag #GivingTuesday when sharing your Campbell Connection.
  2. Host a fundraiser on Facebook and use your network to raise money for The Campbell Center.
  3. Donate on #GivingTuesday below.
