One down, two to go, the first Alma House bathroom accessibility remodel is complete! Our new bathroom is much easier for residents to get arounds in and safer to use. It now has grab bars, non-skid showerpan tiles and a shower chair. The shower has top sliding doors for easy care, and a built-in nook for toiletries.
Now the room is fully tiled for easy cleaning, it sports a bright new vanity light, and new lever-style door handles that are easier to use. We also installed a waterproof window above the shower to avoid future water damage.
Thanks for everyone’s support in helping us make these wonderful upgrades!
