Thanks to The Ahmanson Foundation, The Campbell Center’s emerging EV fleet will have an electric vehicle charging station right in our own parking lot! We recently purchased our first Chevy Bolt through the same grant, and this month we were awarded another $15,000 in seed money from the Community Foundation of the Verdugos to get a second one.
Our old vans are aging and the price of gas is bulging our budget. Going green will be a much more economical way for us to take small groups of Associates out into the community for classes and engaging activities of their choice- places like Descanso Gardens, the MakerSpace at the Glendale Library, and the YMCA.
